Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Fractal Energy Private Limited (“Fractal”, “we”, “us”) collects through fractalenergy.in, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only. Our contracts with customers have their own terms.

Who we are

Fractal Energy Private Limited, 203, Sai Priya Residency, Whitefields, Kondapur, Hyderabad, Telangana 500032, India. We decide why and how the information you send through this site is used. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, that makes us the “data fiduciary”.

What we collect

  • The feasibility form. Your name, company, role, work email, phone, plant location, contracted demand, monthly bill range, roof or land area, preferred route, and anything you write in the message box. Only name, company, work email, bill range and route are required.
  • WhatsApp. Your phone number, your WhatsApp name and the messages and files you send us.
  • Every page visit. The technical details a browser sends to load a page: your IP address, browser type, the page asked for and the time. Our hosting provider and the services listed below receive them.
  • How you use the site. Google Analytics records the pages you view, how long you stay, the site or search that brought you here, your approximate location (city and country), your device, browser and screen size, and whether you sent the form or tapped a WhatsApp button. It uses cookies to do this, as our Cookies page explains. It does not record what you type into the form, and it does not store your IP address.

We use this traffic data as counts and trends, not to identify you. We do not use advertising tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors. We do not ask for bank details, passwords, health information or government ID numbers. Please do not send them through the form.

Why we use it

  • To answer your request: prepare the feasibility study, with the route that fits, an indicative tariff or capacity, the saving and the payback, and contact you about it.
  • To arrange a site visit and, if you go ahead, to prepare a proposal.
  • To keep a record of enquiries and our replies.
  • To keep the site working and secure.
  • To understand how visitors find and use the site, so we can make it more useful.

We do not sell your information. We do not send you marketing messages unless you ask for them.

Your consent

You send us your details for one purpose: to receive a feasibility study or a reply. Sending the form or a message is your consent to that use. You can withdraw it at any time, as described under “Your rights”. Withdrawing stops future use. It does not undo what we did before.

If you do not want Google Analytics to measure your visits, you can block its cookies or install Google’s opt-out tool, as our Cookies page explains.

Who else handles it

We share your information only with the service providers that help us run this site and answer you, and only for that purpose:

  • Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you send us on WhatsApp.
  • GitHub (GitHub Pages) hosts this website.
  • Google measures site traffic for us through Google Analytics, and supplies the fonts on every page and the map on the Contact page. We have turned off Google Signals and ad personalisation, so Google does not use our analytics data for advertising.
  • unpkg supplies the code for the 3D plant view on the home page.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, for example to a court or a government authority. Some of these providers store data outside India. We transfer data abroad only as Indian law permits.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to answer you and follow up, and for no more than three years after our last contact with you. If you become a customer, or the law requires a longer period, we keep it for that period. After that we delete it.

Google Analytics keeps traffic data for 14 months. After that it is deleted automatically.

How we protect it

The site and the form run over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Only the people at Fractal who need your enquiry to answer it can see it. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you, and who we shared it with;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it, by withdrawing your consent;
  • let a person you name act for you if you die or cannot act yourself.

Children

This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if we add a new service to the site. The date at the top shows the latest version.
